How to solve questions related to average chapter?Tricks part-1

     Mai aapko batane ja rha hu average chapter se relation questions ko easy steps me aur within time kaise banaya ja skta hai.I hope,is trick se apko average chapter easy lgne lgega aur aane wale exam me aap solve kr k hi aayenge.

     Average=Sum of numbers/Total no. of                              numbers

     

     Example-

Find the average of the numbers-59,84,44,98,30,40,58

      Solution-

      Average=Sum of numbers/Total no. of                              numbers

                     =(59+84+44+98+30+40+58)/7

                     =413/7

                     =59

                        Type-1

Average of first 'n' natural numbers=(n+1)/2

    Here,natural numbers means 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,.....

      

       Example-1

Find average of the numbers from 1 to 13.

       Solution-

Average=(n+1)/2

               =(13+1)/2     (Here,n=13)

               =14/2

               =7

Ans.-7

                        Type-2

Average of first 'n' even numbers=(n+1)

       Here,even numbers means the numbers which can be divided by 2. like 2,4,6,8,10,12 and so on.

        Example-2

Find average of 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16.

              Or,

Find average of first 8 even numbers.

         Solution-

Average=(n+1)

               =(8+1)   (Here, n refers to no. of                         =9            even numbers)

Ans.-9

                       Type-3

Average of first n odd numbers=n

           Here, odd numbers means numbers which cannot be divided by 2 like 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 and so on.

         Example-3

Find average of 1,3,5,7,9,11,13 and 15.

          Or,

Find average of first 8 odd numbers.

          Solution-

Average=n

               =8      (Here, n=total no. of even                                          numbers)

 Ans.-8
